Purpose Built Schools Atlanta Strategic Plan
The goal of this recent strategic planning process was primarily to provide direction to the organization in achieving that improvement and sustainability over the next three to five years, with an imperative to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic in a stronger position.

The 2021-22 school year was the fourth full year of operating the complete PreK – 12 pipeline of schools, which includes Slater Elementary School, Price Middle School, Carver STEAM Academy, and previously, Thomasville Heights Elementary School. By offering this complete PreK – 12 trajectory, we provide a consistent, positive experience for students as they make their way through grade school.
In Progress with Purpose, we look back at the many gains our schools have made. The APS-PBSA partnership has resulted in strong student growth, more stable schools with student-centered cultures and increased caregiver engagement, and unprecedented equity-based investments.
