Yes! Our schools have worked with local partners to build a vibrant and participatory local food system that provides families with safe, nutritious and culturally acceptable food. Our student farmers gain valuable agricultural knowledge and experience growing their own food, as well as playing an integral role in improving access for PBSA families to healthy, culturally relevant food. Our school farms and partners have produced more than 1,100 lbs of quality food to our community.
